OAKLAND LEDGES

a fish swimming under water

A series of 15 mooring buoys mark a ledge in 18-28 feet of water with several caves and crevices just north of The Caves. This is a great dive site for fish spotting providing a great place for smaller fish to hide from the sweeping currents. The Ridges run North and South parallel to the shore line making this site ideal for drift diving. The name comes from the proximity to Oakland Park boulevard.
