If you think the digital era has revolutionized photography out of the water, wait until you discover what it has done for underwater imaging.
- You no longer need costly underwater cameras, expensive strobes or pricey lenses to capture breathtaking underwater images.
- There is no more buying film, paying for processing, or having to wait until you get home from vacation to discover how your pictures came out.
- You don’t need to master complicated concepts such as f-stops, shutter speed, aperture and guide numbers. All you need is an inexpensive, point-and-shoot digital camera and housing — and our Underwater Photographer course.

This course is open to divers who are:
- At least 10 years old
- Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver level or equivalent
- Able to either answer NO to all questions on the standard Medical History Form or secure a physician’s approval prior to the start of class

This course consists of:
- Self study
- Two classroom sessions
- Two open water training dives

Self study takes place at the comfort of your home. Classroom session takes place right here at Squalo Divers. Open water dives take place at one of more than 50 dive sites that we have to offer.
Digital Underwater Photography Specialty classes start at any time. Classroom sessions are done during regular store hours. Open water training dives are done any day of the week. All activities take place by appointment only.
