PADI Equipment Specialist Course

Learn to manage basic scuba diving equipment repairs and adjustments. Understand routine care and maintenance procedures and how dive gear works.
Don’t miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba diving equipment. Whether it’s a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, the PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches you to manage basic repairs and adjustments. You also learn more about how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment.
This course is open to divers who are:
- At least 10 years old
- Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
This course consists of:
- Self study
- One practical application session
Self-study takes place in the comfort of your home. A practical application session takes place right here at Squalo Divers.
Equipment Specialist classes start at any time. Practical application session is done during regular store hours. All activities take place by appointment only.
The course fee includes:
- Educational material
- All instruction
- Certification card processing
Students are responsible for supplying:
- Transportation to and from the shop
- Food and drinks
